ON SITE INSCRIPTIONS
Specialist inscriptions on site at the church or cemetery
When you require an additional inscription added to a headstone, why pay to have your memorial taken away, to then pay again to have it refitted on the grave space? At MLI we can do it all for you on site in the cemetery or churchyard, making it a lot cheaper and free of the risk of damage. This method is especially good when dealing with memorials with kerbs and large memorials.

Workshop inscriptions
Sometimes, the memorial has to be taken off the grave space due to obstructing the grave being dug and causing health and safety concerns. If that's the case, additional inscriptions can be carried out in our workshop.
Hand cut inscriptions
In years gone by, hand cutting the inscription with chisels was the only way to letter a memorial - if your original inscription is hand cut, we can hand cut your new inscription to match.
Refitting
If the council or church have laid down or strapped up your memorial as they have tested it and have said it is loose and dangerous, we refit your memorial using a ground anchor system which is a recognised safe way to refit memorials to B.R.A.M.M. / N.A.M.M. Health and Safety standards (approved by every council in the UK).
REFURBISHMENTS
Cleaning, re-lettering and re-gilding

We undertake thorough cleaning to get rid of years of weathering, moss and grass staining. We also specialise in re-gilding or re-painting inscriptions, including changing painted letters to gilded ones or vice versa.
